Meals on Wheels Kitsap has begun accepting applications for the 2022 Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program. This seasonal program provides income-qualified seniors with free vouchers they can use to purchase fresh produce at local farmers markets and farm stands.
In past years, seniors have received $40 worth of checks. However this year—thanks to additional one-time state funding—qualified individuals can get $80.
