THE RED BARN CAFE

This is part of Country Meadows (Encore Communities), truly Independent retirement living in style—with your very own private country cottage. Nestled on our 13-acre beautifully landscaped campus, Country Meadows offers views of the Olympic Mountains and surrounding rural valley, yet is just minutes from downtown Silverdale.

The October Menu Featured some of these delectable treats (more offered than mentioned below):


BREAKFAST

Meadows Breakfast: 2 eggs any style, with bacon or sausage, hash browns & toast $9

Omelet: Served with hash browns & toast. Choose from any 2 to build your favorite omelet (onions, olives, mushrooms, ham, bacon, spinach, or sundried tomatoes) $9

French Toast: Served with 2 eggs any style, bacon or sausage and of course butter & syrup $7


LUNCH

BLAT (bacon, lettuce, avacado & tomato): served on croissant with cup of soup or chips $8

Garden Burger served with lettuce, tomato, onion & pickle $7

Grilled Cheddar, Tomato, Bacon & Turkey served on sourdough with cup of soup or chips $8

Chicken Ceasar Wrap, ceasar salad wrapped in a garlic herb wrap, served with cup of soup or chips $7

Spinach Salad: spinach greens tossed with tomatoes, olives, french's onions, bacon bits, carrots & eggs - served with dressing of your choice $8

Entering The Lodge with its beautiful portico entrance with the waterfall at your back is a lovely experience, but it is the timeless beauty of the Olympic Room, the social hub and centerpiece of “living at the Lodge” that sets this community apart from other retirement centers.

The residents and guests of The Lodge order from a restaurant-style menu and are served table side by experienced waitstaff. The Olympic Room is a unique dining venue and with a reservation 24 hours in advance, diners from the local community are welcome.

Breakfast and lunch are menu service with daily specials, and breakfast includes special-order omelets, eggs to order, bacon, sausage, French toast and more. Lunch service includes the famous Lodge Reuben, tuna melts, chicken sandwiches, and burgers including a garden burger.


With a dinner menu that includes everything from pastas, stir-fries, and garlic prawns to specially prepared free-range chicken, filet mignon and a daily special, it is a truly unique experience. Recent daily specials have included Tilapia, crab cakes and trout.


One of the local newspapers recently named the salad bar the best on the Peninsula.The Lodge kitchen can also accommodate a vegetarian diet. Snacks, juices, fresh fruits, coffee, tea, and baked goods are also available.


Lunch is at 12:00pm & Dinner at 5:30pm / 24 hour advance reservations required

Prices are $12 per person + tax for lunch ($14 + tax FDR) / $18 per person + tax for dinner ($20 + tax FDR)
